 What is Grades for Students
December 8, 2005 - Grades version 4.01 has been released!
Grades for Students is the first, and only program, that allows you to not only keep track of all course information, but also assignments, instructors,
notes, and contacts. The program has the unique ability to predict your grade using the Grade predictor(tm) feature and can also help you determine what
assignment grade you will need in order to obtain your desired final course grade. Naturally the program will calculate your Grade Point Average (GPA)
using the scale that you specify to ensure that it matches with your educational institution.
Grades for Students has been designed to help students at any grade level. The program has been successfully used by students at all grade levels at
educational institutions worldwide!
Version 4.00
Version 4.00 has a completely redesigned and streamlined user interface. All information is now available on the
screen at the same time, with a very simple navigation window appearing on the left hand side of the screen. Click on the thumbnail image on the right to see a full-size screen shot of the user interface.
There are several other new and improved features now available in this version:
- A new calendar view has been added that highlights on a month view calendar the dates on which assignments are due.
- A new notes capability has been added which allows you to save quick notes for later retrieval. You can use
this to keep track of assignment progress, reminders to complete a given task, study notes, or anything else you can think of!
- The reports section
has been completely redesigned with new report formats available. These reports are built so that they can be modified by
the end user. This feature is not currently active, but will be made available soon - at no additional cost - to registered users.
- Search results will now remain active until you decide to reset the results. This makes it easy to operate on only the search results and allows
you to change any of the information as required without needing to remember the exact course or assignment to change.
- Interface theme management allows you to quickly and easily change the color scheme for the program. Several preset color schemes are
available for you to choose from.
- Dockable windows allows you to “unplug” any element of the user interface. When using this feature you can move any of the windows in the
main interface to different areas of the screen independently. You can choose to keep some windows as part of the main interface and some separate. The choice is yours!
How much does it cost?
Grades for Students pricing is US $12
after a 30-day evaluation period. The program will remind you of the number of days that remain during your evaluation period. Beyond the 30-day period you must purchase a valid license.
All registered users of Grades for Students version 3.6x can upgrade to version 4.0x for the discounted price of
US $5. Any users who have registered version 3.6x after June 2005 will automatically receive a free upgrade to version 4.x.
